| a/an (indefinite article)
- Use a /an with singular noun.
- Use an with a noun begining with a vowel (a, e, i, o, u)
It's a bag - It's a pen. It's an identity card - It's an umbrella. The (definite article)
- Use the when we know which (door, windows)
- eg. open the door.
- Use the with singular and plural nouns.
- Open the door
- Open the windows.
Plurals
- Add -s to make plural nouns.
- It's a pen
- They're pens.
Don't use a /an with plural nouns. they're keys. Singular RulesWhen finish in:a boo ka ke y add s in the end for plural.
When finish in:
a wat cha bo x add es after ch, sh, s, x.
When finsh in:
a countr ya dictionar y add consonant + y > ies.
this/that/these/those

- Use that / those for thing far away
- this / that =singular
- these / those = plural
