Use Be Going to for:

Plans:

  • use be going to + infinitive verb to talk about future plans
  • With verb go, you can say with or without.

    • e.g. I'm going to go the cinema or I'm going to the cinema

  • Often use future time expression with going to:

    • tomorrow, next week, next year, ect.



Predictions


  • Can also be going to + infinitive verb

    • e.g. (I think) they're going to be happy cheers
    • e.g. (I think) it's going to rain confused
